Test Results

The ecocamel showerhead has been rigorously tested to ensure that the pressure and flow rate and the materials used meets the strictest water efficiency criteria and standards.. The showerhead has been approved by the Water Regulation Advisory Scheme, (WRAS) which is funded by all water companies.

Independent testing carried out by Liverpool John Moores University showed the ecocamel aerated showerhead produced a flow rate of 6.7 litres a minute compared to a standard conventional showerhead which flowed at 12.2 litres a minute at 2 bar pressure. Please note that some power showers can use up to at 25 litres or more a minute. The results show that when tested using mains water pressure, the ecocamel aerated showerhead uses 56,210 litres* less water a year compared to using a normal showerhead.
